𝐈𝐓 𝐖𝐀𝐒𝐍'𝐓 𝐓𝐄𝐂𝐇𝐍𝐈𝐂𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐘 𝐇𝐈𝐃𝐈𝐍𝐆. she hadn’t committed a crime, (shouting at UNIT was not a crime) she hadn’t broken any laws, and jack had managed to get her real freedom. She wasn’t HIDING from legal worries, per say but rather from LIFE. the guilt of surviving, not one, but two torchwood encounters that led to death. her mind drifting a little from him and back to the keys she held in her hand, placing them down as she put on the kettle.
