Video from "Boersen Hotdogchallenge 2012" were I was one of the judges.
I had the pleasure of judging the "Børsens Hotdog Challenge" 2012 held in Tivoli Friheden Aarhus. I was judging the category "Gourmet Hotdogs".
Here are some impressions from the day
Some of the highlight were:
Poul Cunnighams "The Kings Last hotdog" with bananabrioche, bbqmarmelade and fried pigs-ears.
Wasim Hallal with very untraditional version served with champagne
Bernard Chesnaus "Hot Camel" with spicy sausage, coriander, cummin & chili.
Everybody had put a lot of effort in their version of a hotdog - I was really impressed. Also the "Traditional Hotdog" Category was well represented with our finest Hotdogchefs.
Thums up for this project - it really show that the danish fastfoodcusine still got lots of committed people developing and continueing the proud danish hotdog traditions.
