It was chaos. One moment, they’d been preparing to watch the last matches of the joust, the next, terror had erupted throughout the camp. Beasts roaring to shake their entire world. He was taking action immediately, guiding people toward the castle. It was one of those few times towering over everybody helped him, garnering attention with a yell and doing everything he could to get them to safety. It was only afterward that he knew he needed to focus on finding a few specific individuals. One of whom he caught sight of immediately after a crowd surged aside, a wild beasts chased by a group of Witchers. Gaze zeroing in on the familiar form of Saryn, among the crowd. Barely waiting before charging his way forward, a hand securing the others waist and tugging him aside, under an awning and away from the crowd practically tearing at each other to be free.
“Hey, hey, it’s me, you’re fine.” He needed the other to realize he was safe. The castle was their best bet for safety. “Have you seen any of the others, sire? Yg?”
