“You know, I was fully expecting to be alone out here this late.” A smirk stole across Leon’s lips, perched contently on the port, gaze flickering between the waves rolling below his feet, and the source of the sound. Dull footfalls upon the wood of the landing had snagged his attention, but still not enough to fully pull away from the lure of the sea. He’d never felt as landlocked as he did recently, but at the same time... It was something stable. It was somewhere he could actually lay down roots, maybe one day make a name for himself beyond his role as a mercenary at war. “Not that I’m like to complain for some company,” Leonidas added, finally turning his gaze toward the sound and flashing a smile. He wasn’t the sort to turn away company of any sort, and it showed in how he handled himself.
