So ! It turns out my horrible washer/dryer combo has a touchscreen. I dont know how i missed that--i really just thought it was a display. But I can do dryer only loads, and it only took me 13 months of using the damn thing to realize that...
Which means I am currently attempting to full my fabric !! Its definitely gotten a little nicer, but i am aiming for fulled enough that I cannot force a finger through the web, and im not there yet. In fact after 2 hours of damping the fabric and then tossing it in the dryer, it has not changed much since the first 15 minutes. Also, unfortunately, different yarns are fulling at different rates, so the middle is quite thick and one side is medium and the other side is very thin. Not ideal. I am sure hopeful it turns out usable.
As it stands i think theres a 50/50 shot i will end up with enough fabric to make a short big coat. I also need to weave some pockets on a pin loom because I do need 3 pockets minimum on a jacket. I also think I want to do the cuffs, collar and possibly bottom hem as knitting, or possibly made with strips of a different fabric, simply because its a little too coarse to be next to skin and at the moment i am wearing my jacket all day at work, so i cant be having horribly itchy wrists all day.
I have no pictures tho; the lighting is awful so I will try and take some tomorrow morning.
