I watched Zootopia 2 over the weekend and I liked it, But it really upset me that they showed us so little of Clawhauser and Bogo. I LOVE BENJAMIN SO MUCH. Well, look what a kitten he is.

yeah! it’s our third gayer than usual week post, and today we have office romance bogo and clawhauser!

i’ve put it on the middle of our spectrum from most to least canon, since there isn’t much in the way of hard evidence for it... but they sure are having a good time together at that dance party, as shown above. it’s nice to see bogo have the chance to let his proverbial hair down. dude needs to relax.

the appeal of shipping these two is obvious - doofy ray of sunshine benji with terrifying and super srs bogo. classic odd couple vibes. the good stuff.

that said, i never really shipped it myself, mostly because i can’t help but feel it’s probably a violation of zpd protocol for the chief to date, like, the guy working front desk. i asked google “can a police chief date his subordinate”, and that got me nowhere, so i changed it to the more general “can cops date each other” but before i finished the phrase it suggested “can cops date criminals”, and, yeah, better question. more dramatic. google knows what’s up

that’s a tangent. point is - benjamin franklin delano donut clawhauser is a catch, and anyone would be lucky to have him, but he’d especially suit poor chief bogo because he definitely needs more sugar in his life.

and they could listen to gazelle together!
