Both her parents come from BIG families
She is the fourth oldest sibling out of nine siblings. Loves her siblings and tries to be close with them.
Would help her parents take care of her younger siblings and cousins.
Charlotte and Martin are the only two that are married (NOT to each other of course). Charlotte and husband have five children (insert list of names here).
Martin and his wife two children (so far…).
Her family is pretty religious, though they aren’t as bad as her grandparents (on her father’s side). I mean her father is a deacon.
Her family does believe in the saying “Spare the rod and spoiled the child.” Though her parents aren’t completely unreasonable when it comes to punishments.
Like they talk about the wrongdoings before dishing out the punishment.
Yes, the older siblings (when they became a certain age) were allowed to punish their younger siblings if they were comfortable doing so. Julianys was NEVER comfortable with it.
When Julianys was around five her grandmother slit her throat trying to kill her. Her grandmother (father’s mother) claimed she thought that Julianys was going to turn into a sinner.
Obviously, her family was kind of pissed at the grandmother but decided to forgive her. Though Julianys is never to be left alone with that woman.
From the day on Julianys has a fear of knives and an ugly scar. she likes to try and hid it by wearing turtle necks or a scarf. When she was old enough for make up she uses it to try and hide the scar.
Started taking ballroom/waltzing lessons when she was 10.
Her family has tried to play matchmaker ever since she turned 13
Needed to act like ladylike all the time.
Her parents can’t really afford to send her and her siblings to college.
Now
She left home around the age of eighteen, wanting to discover herself, and her place in this world. Stays in contact with her family.
She also is questioning her religious beliefs. It’s something she is keeping from her family. Even if she is questioning her religious beliefs, Julianys still goes to church. And if she can’t make it to church she’ll ask her father for a mini service.
Started working at the Renaissance Faire as a food/beverage server, then in hospitality before one of the entertainers took interest in her and asked if she wanted to try out for a small part.
Her follow Renn Faire workers have become like a second family to her. She even babysits for a few of them.
Of course, there are people that ask about her scar and sometimes she’ll talk about it. Other times she brushes it off or lets whoever asked, know she’ll answer that question when she is ready. Yeah, she still tries to hide the scar but not as much when she was younger.
Enjoys reading singing, poetry, and art, and always wanted to go to college for poetry.
She is a hopeless romantic to a fault. Doesn’t know what love really is.
