18. do you speak with a dialect of your native language?

No but I wish I was. My parents do, it’s a local dialect from the center of the country, it’s called “berrichon” but I wasn’t born there so I only know few words of it and I can understand it a bit when the older ones in my family use it. My parents can’t really teach me because they don’t really know how to teach it. And since nobody in my family is from the region where I was born, I can’t speak the dialect of it either, nor understand it.

26. does your nationality get portrayed in Hollywood/American media? what do you think about the portrayal?

Yes it does, and Americans make us WAY TOO FANCY lmao! When it’s not the fancy classy french cliché (i swear to god if you come here with hopes to find fancy french people you’ll be VERY disappointed), there is the typical french lover and good luck to find that too. I don’t remember a lot of hollywood or american medias that I actually saw with french in here but... yeah. Generally it’s more rich people than french people.

- Scold my dog for chewing on windowsills again. Jk, I’d drop everything to FaceTime my best friend :)

5. How do you define your own aesthetic?

- Eclectic and messy lol. I very much want to be colorful messy artist aesthetic, but really I’m “I got some Very Fun statement pieces from the local thrift store”

13. Would you rather have wings or a mermaid tail?

- If I had it all the time, I would have to choose wings. I appreciate my legs, and I am moderately scared of the ocean. But really I’d want wings either way.

- Being decent at pyrography :) I worked really hard at it, and I’m really proud that I didn’t give up.

It's interesting cause often after I've watched something, I find that if I especially liked a characters voice I can for a while after still hear like an echo of it in my head, and that I often end up imitating it like when I think. Would you say that's an echolalia ( Im referring to the kind that's in the head but I can't remember the name right now) thing?

10: state an unpopular opinion that you have.

I don’t know how unpopular this is, admittedly, but I’m pretty sure it isn’t a common one: I’m not really a fan of Lila’s character in the Shades of Magic series. I really wanted to like her, and at a certain point I thought I was finally going to tip over into doing so, but… it just never happened. she seemed to reach a certain point of characterisation and then plateau, and I think considering all the shit she pulled, she did not meet nearly enough consequences. the result made her kind of annoying and insensitive in my opinion; out of everyone there she undoubtedly lost the least, suffered the least, and got exactly what she wanted, and I don’t know. she seems to take it all for granted, and I don’t think she fully appreciates the suffering of the others. she seems a highly insensitive, selfish person, and like. I just don’t like her lmao.

19: got a random fact you’ve been holding on to?

the luxury department store Harrods of London has a three-storey basement, and on one of these levels is a full functioning stables. this is because Harrods has been around since like, the 1700s, and back in the day deliveries arrived via thoroughbred Friesian horses, who would naturally need somewhere to be housed. passing though this vast basement is also not one, not two, but three artisan wells, which provides Harrods with all its water and has done so since the store opened on that site.

34: describe a time that you were brave.

without going into excruciating detail, I grew up in a nasty environment that only got worse and worse. when I was far too young to have to make such a decision, I realised that I would literally die if I stayed and that I had to leave. I threw some things in a bag and left. I had nothing but the clothes on my back and whatever I’d managed to grab; I had no money, no support network, and no idea what I was going to do, but I knew anything was better than how I was living. I left the country and I didn’t look back.

14] What’s a movie you feel deserves more love?

*tries to remember the last time i watched a movie* uhhhhhh

if i can cheat a bit and go with tv show, then bbc’s merlin definitely deserves more awareness and love, and if you haven’t watched it i highly recommend it (at least...the first 3 1/2 seasons....but my issues with the ending of the show and the last season aside it’s actually really good

15] What’s a song you need people to hear at least once?

¯\_(ツ)_/¯ idk music is so so so subjective and my personal music taste is just whatever i happen to be fixated on for the day/week so i genuinely don’t have an answer to this

bold of you to assume i’m not already a dragon who hoards a multitude of things that have no real value but are cool anyway (mostly pens and other art supplies, but i have a pretty good collection of tea cups at this point too)
