I feel like the YJ cartoon could have had so much potential with the Dick and Artemis friendship in season 1 especially. (Ik that season 3 sort of tried but... it was also very focused on the new people and the aftereffects of the Reach Invasion.)

Because they had so much in common:

Good at hand-to-hand combat

Rely on weapons/gadgets

Only two people with no powers actually on the team (Roy doesn't count).

(Also the only ones who have regular healing times for all their wounds and injuries) (And have to stretch and stuff after & before their workouts and missions to prevent injuries)

They live in the same city (Gotham)

Go to the same school (maybe even have the same civilian friend circle with that Bette Kane cameo)

You can't look at all of that and think they won't be good friends at the very least with all that time together

(Tbf I haven't watched season 4 yet because it wasn't on Netflix)

Did anyone else find it weird that characters in Young Justice season 3 were trying to push Artemis and Will to date??

I am rewatching it again and I find it so odd. Not sure how common this is but where I am from you don’t date your siblings baby daddy or baby momma.

It’s just a line you do not cross.

not only do i hate s3 of young justice for their crimes against brion & tara, i also hate them for how they made artemis' entire personality resolve around wally's death, being a mother figure to her outsiders/halo, and pining over her SISTER'S ex (?) husband and baby daddy
