Bokuto and Yukie “date”for a while in first year; basically they were makeout buddies.
The duo was known as one of the chillest (and hottest) couples at Fukurodani for a couple months.
But eventually they realized they were better as friends. And suddenly they shifted into being each other’s biggest confidant.
They talked about everything. Shared food and recipes. Joked 24/7 and drove their teammates nuts!
And since they knew how the other acted when they had a crush, they would tease each other whenever they noticed.
Like when a certain dark haired setter shows up at the start of their 2nd year. Yukie can automatically recognize the look Bokuto gives Akaashi as attraction, even before he realizes it himself.
She becomes the first person Bo comes out to as bi on the team. And the first person he tells when he and Akaashi finally get together.
“Freakin’ FINALLY!” She cries, and Akaashi is so confused lol
I dunno I just love the idea of Bo and Yukie being each other’s “first” (kiss, gf/bf) and it turning into a really fun friendship.
(bonus points if they’re BOTH bi and they bond over that too 😉 )
