how do you pick the colours for your arts? i struggle with colours a lot

helloooooo!!! I'll be honest with you, most of the time i'm making it up as I go along. BUT!!! I used to do a lot of color studies with photographs I liked, it really helped me figure out how colors interact in the real world!

So when in doubt, collect photos that have colors you think are pretty and study them for a bit, see how the highlights and the shadows work in different ambients and try to emulate it! I've found that Pinterest is a really easy place to find pretty photos for color studies! :>
