After playing a new game or playing a game too long, do you get visual/imaginary after-effects of the game while doing other things?

After effects being like. superimposed game mechanics on top of things that you're doing, or common game activities that you keep catching yourself thinking about while you're doing something where the mind wanders, like walking, knitting, or trying to sleep.
I played osu too long and now I keep seeing circles compressing around the letters I'm typing. I played manor lord too long and kept imagining building roads to nowhere while trying to write an essay.
I need to believe this is normal.
