1) BTS MMA - 2019

No performance beats this. The solos!!?!? The sets?!?! The LIVE ACTUAL horses?!?!

2) Priyanka Chopra - Filmfare 2011

This performance of hers was a tribute to Madhuri Dixit and said Madhuri Dixit WAS IN THE AUDIENCE. And she did so so well.

And no, you won't find a madhuri performance in this list because I CANNOT choose one. Not when it comes to her.

3) Hrithik Roshan - IIFA 2014 & 2016

God, I remember the hype for this performance. He was performing after a long time and everyone was loosing it. And rightfully, have you seen the man dance?? that grace, uff.

The 2016 had baawre and I am a sucker for him dancing on that song.

4) Shahrukh Khan - 2011

If anyone thought there would be a list of award performances without Shahrukh Khan in it- they don't know me well enough - and that needs to immediately change. This man here is my first love. His wit, charm, elegance, humor in speaking.

As a dancer- he ain't gonna pop it lock and it but he has something that's essential to dance that some people who are even technically good don't have - grace.

In this video when he removed his glares- i squealed. Like i said, first love.

5)Aishwarya Rai, Abhishek Bachchan and THE Amitabh Bachchan - IIFA 2005

Okay-so context time.

Bunty aur Babli was a super hit movie in 2005 with the entire album having bops after bops. And Kajra Re was THE bop- it is, too date played in wedding functions. But then? You couldn't have a complete programme without that song. School annual day? Kajra re. Buildings new year part? It was there. Water parks? Duh.

And it was rumored Abhishek and rani broke up and Abhishek and Aishwarya - Miss India - started dating. So them performing it on a programme had created enough buzz as it is but then AMITBAH FREAKING BACHAN walks in - please, I am not even a huge fan of his but even I lost it.

Fitoor (2016) A story told and understood through gaze.

Right from the first time Noor (Aditya Roy Kapoor) laid eyes on Firdaus (Katrina Kaif) he could never stop.

And that is shown beautifully through out the movie, no matter when Firdaus turned her head to search for Noor- she always found his gaze on him. She never understood or could stand the intensity of his gaze because how can he look at her for so long? And like that - like she is his compass as well as the ultimate destination.

But she understands it when she falls for him. Because when she falls in love (let's herself fall) in that love - the one with Fitoor he holds for her- she realises she feels for Noor the way he has always felt for her - she finally understand why he can't take his gaze off her because she can't take hers off him. Because he is her question as well as answer.

Did I get into all my feels about Fitoor after (1) one conversation about it with @iseeyousworld - yes I did. In fact don't be surprised if you see my favorite screencaps from music videos edited on my dash because Fitoor's album is so so personal to me.
