I just need the ideas to come first, ugh. I was totally planning on writing the legendary nine day heat featuring 95% filth and 5% funny, but then I opened up a Word doc and my brain was like “LOL NOPE I’M TIRED OF WRITING PORN” and that was that. Now I just want to write something happy and fluffy and ridiculous because college is making me want to avoid any actual responsibilities, oops.

Like Yuuri is clearly trying to be the considerate parent and going “Victor, no, just leave them alone to have fun together” but Victor's Embarrassing Dad transformation is already complete so he’s like “HI I’M HERE TO RUIN EVERYTHING”. Otabek is too polite to complain and he also still thinks Victor and Yuuri are pretty cool but Yurio is like “dude, you’ve never had to live with them before” and of course Victor is all “YOU KNOW WHAT THAT SOUNDS LIKE A GREAT IDEA HOW ABOUT YOU STAY WITH US IN OUR INCREASINGLY CRAMPED APARTMENT” while Yuuri just wishes he’d married somebody with actual sense.

It actually wasn’t, which led to a lot of confusion and many “why the hell are you not knocked up yet?” comments to Yuuri. Now that you mention it, I don’t think I’ve ever seen long heats explored either before. THIS TOPIC IS CLEARLY IN NEED OF MORE FIC. Like how Victor is pretty much unconscious by the end of it and Yuuri is on the verge of panic because the heat was amazing but he totally didn’t mean to almost kill Victor with sex so he’s like should I call someone??? and trying to decide between emergency services and his mom, but then he realises how incredibly embarrassing that would be because he and Victor are, um, still kind of stuck to each other, and it’s not like he can use his phone to consult google-sensei either because lol iPhone batteries barely last 9 hours without needing a new charge never mind NINE WHOLE DAYS.

Speaking of which, are either of them usually in any state of mind to keep their phones charged and available during Yuuri’s heats? Or do they make do with the crappy old Nokia phone that Yakov bequeathed to them and that even Yurio couldn’t destroy? I’m guessing the latter ever since that one time Victor tried updating his social media accounts in the middle of their epic sex marathon so Yuuri locked him out of the bedroom and finished his heat off with the help of a knotting dildo and the sound of Victor’s desolate sobs drifting through the door. Yakov is like “what do you even need this for anyway?” and Victor is like “so I never get replaced with a sex toy again” and Yakov resolves not to ask questions ever.

Now he has Otabek to share the trauma and the embarrassment! That ought to make it less painful in theory, but the reality ends up being somewhat different. Yurio also curses himself for giving in to morbid curiosity late at night by checking to see if omega on omega action is even a thing (it most certainly is, google tells him, and then he has to go and stand under a waterfall until he’s sane again after he finds out just what the most popular link leads to).

It’s even worse with the legendary nine day heat because it comes early so they actually have an excuse for being completely unprepared this time. Victor has just enough sense left to take Makkachin to Yakov and he also vaguely remembers to bring back supplies from the supermarket only his brain is totally fried by this point and he comes home with random crap like a pineapple, some pantyhose and a tub of spackle (HE’S A GOOD ALPHA REALLY WHEN HE’S NOT BEING DRIVEN INSANE BY RUT). Then they get back from hospital and Yuuri is like “what even is all this???” and Victor is like “I TRIED OKAY”

Yurio is usually their go-to person when either one of them screws up with their relationship, but he’s also just a kid and really doesn’t need to know that Yuuri is trying not to have a panic attack because Victor is passed the fuck out and shows no sign of either disengaging from him or waking up again anytime soon. I also have a feeling that any attempt at calling Phichit would make the situation ten times worse, and although Chris would actually have some good advice, he’s still the last person Yuuri would want to talk to right now because he knows Chris would totally offer to see him through the rest of his heat with phone sex while Victor is unconscious OH MY GOD THIS JUST KEEPS GETTING EVEN MORE RIDUCULOUS.
