Bolt Brewing’s Batch 14 IPA on tap at the brewery in La Mesa, CA. A 2 of 4. A good standard lighter-bodied IPA. Nice bitterness in the finish and a standard citrus/herbal hop presence in the nose and up front. Very drinkable and refreshing, leaving your palate dry but not ruined of bitterness. That said, not the most memorable.

Bolt Brewing’s Hard Pressed Orange on tap at the brewery in La Mesa, CA. A 3 of 4. Smells powerfully of orange fruit and a juice & candy-like orange quality too. The body is slightly sticky and a bit thicker than expected, with a bit more subdued orange presence in the body. Really nice and refreshing, and while balanced, definitely on the slightly sweet side of things.
