The significance of us as youth clinging to the idea of a strange eldritch horror acting as a father figure to those like us and imagining it wisking us away into the forest to live with a motley crew of misfits and freaks is not lost on me.

Ace Frehley died, no one talk to me.
He and KISS came to my town 50 years ago, and we celebrated it recently. They're a really big band here and in Michigan in general and have had a really big impact on my life since I was a little girl. They are the reason I'm really into rock music in general, and Ace was always my favourite. Heartbroken and shocked, rest in peace Ace.
