i haven’t posted many metas about oboro quite yet because,  frankly,  those chapters knocked the wind out of me for the last two months or however long it’s been.  i do have one planned that kind of encompasses this question,  but for now,  a glimpse sounds fun.

so, this depends entirely on whether or not he ( and mic ) can actually save him, as aizawa very clearly and emotionally declared he wanted to — even asking him to come back, be heroes with them — and that, to me, sounds like someone who is 100% willing to forgive him for what he’s done.  it’s interesting, though!  i’ve written him to have such low tolerance for villainy, but, this is obviously a special case.

ultimately:  yeah,  i do think he’ll forgive him, when / if he’s saved, and i have two reasons for that.  one being what i mentioned already — his statement, or plea really, implies to me that he wants him by his side. that’s not a guy holding a grudge. and two, if we have the situation right, then what happened to him wasn’t really his fault. to some degree, his mindset has been altered, brainwashed, etc… that’s not on him.

a part of him, the part that is so vehemently lawful, though… that part might hold some reservations, even after everything is said and done. and really, his intentions in the end play a big factor, so if it’s revealed that he did want this… at all, which again, i doubt, i think we’d be looking at a different scenario. and considering oboro inspired shouta to be the hero he is today, i think learning that would be really earth shattering, so let’s hope that’s not the case.
