⎡reminiscing adolescence⎦⎯ bomi&sehun
It seemed as though nothing interesting was going to happen during the day-- classes had worn him out more than usual, making everything seem almost intolerable, and the fact that he still had to do his job as the bartender tonight. Perhaps, he wasn't built to relax, or even have time to spend leisurely. Thankfully, he finished class a little early, and all he needed to awaken himself up was a cup of coffee, then he'd be ready to do whatever he needed to do. It was almost guaranteed that one day, the screws would fall out of his body; sooner or later.
Entering the cafe that often spend his time at, Sehun greeted the owner with a slight bow of head, placing his favourite order-- caramel macchiato. The place wasn't as packed as usual, which he was more than grateful, it'd be a havoc in his mind if people were to walk all over the place, it might even drive him over to the edge. Of course, someone like him prefers a quiet place and his own company than being in the middle of the crowd.
After his order was served, he quickly turned around to find a place to sit, though, luck wasn't on his side. The boy just had to bump his shoulder into someone, almost spilling the drink on the girl. Heaving a heavy sigh as he immediately took a step back, Sehun couldn't help but bow his head apologetically, repeatedly. "I'm so sorry I didn't mean to bump into you--"
The moment seemed as though the world had stopped moving, everyone around him had forgotten how to speak, he had forgotten how to breathe. Everything was...abnormal, everything was moving in slow motion. He couldn't have been mistaken, the girl had the same smile as someone he knew from his past, someone who went through a lot with him. Someone unforgettable. With his brown eyes fixated on her face, Sehun muttered under his breath. "Bomi..." He wasn't sure whether it was loud enough for her to hear, because, surely, it would be embarrassing if he had mistaken someone else for his own childhood friend.
Bomi & Yukwon; hospital
Pain. That was all Yukwon could feel as he slowly woke up from what seemed to be the worst night of his life-- or one of the worst. He blinked a few times but didn't move for long minutes, just listening to his surroundings and trying to remember what exactly had happened. The only problem was that he couldn't remember anything.
Slowly sitting up in the foreign bed, he pursed his lips to suppress the cry of pain that shot through his body. He couldn't even imagine the state he was in, he thought, while taking a few deep breathes, eyes squeezed shut.
After a moment, he opened his eyes and looked around. He was in a hospital's room. Well, at least he didn't end up in someone else's room or under a bridge or something. He let out a shaky breathe: his whole body was aching and he didn't have any memory of the past night. One moment he was drinking in an underground club and the next one, he was at the hospital.
A pained whine left his lips and he closed his eyes again. You're so stupid, Yukwon. He shook his head, how could have he been so careless? He was an idol, he had responsibilities and he would be lucky if no one recognized him-- it's not like he was that famous, but still.
Now, he just needed a doctor or a nurse to talk to. He needed answers and now. So, he stood up, clenching his fists in an attempt to ignore the pain and slowly made his way out the room.
'Oops'
( I'm making this an AU from my AU, you feel me? So school AU )
"This is your fault," Taehyung muttered in a hushed tone. He was sitting back in his seat, arms crossed across his chest. His eyes were shut - they weren't clenched, not matching the biting tone in his voice - but his eyes didn't have to be open for the girl to know his words were directed at her.
Taehyung and Bomi had never got along - this was fact. There wasn't a particular reason why; they just didn't get along. So of course it had practically spelled trouble when their substitute teacher sat them next to each other, telling them to work together. It had been okay at first. Stiff air and no sounds asides from Bomi telling him what to work on and Taehyung's agreeing grunts, but still okay.
Then she did that thing where she opened her mouth and words about things other than their schoolwork came out. That, of course, resulted in an argument which consisted of quite a bit of curses, ignoring the teacher's demands to 'stop it!', some cold tea dripping through Taehyung's hair, and some ice down the back of Bomi's shirt.
The principal was now motioning from them to come in, a stern but not surprised look on his aged face. "Your fault," Taehyung hissed again.
"I can't let you be."
"Why not? Are you afraid that i'll be able to replace you?" { He tightly grips onto her shoulders and sternly stares into her eyes. } "Answer me. Do you want me or not."
bomiyoons:
Sitting over at the bar all alone Bomi couldn’t help but feel her mood plummeting fast; She’d come out clubbing with a few friends to have fun, to meet new people and to get a little wasted but along the lines all her friends had ditched her, hence why shes sitting by herself, wishing she’d never decided to come out. Her mood however is quickly changed when a male join’s her, offering to buy her a beverage; there was no way she was going to turn him down. A sly smile finds it’s way to her lips, answering over the loud music “Sure, why not.”
The night was somewhat slow. Though Jay was out with a couple of friends of his, they seemed a bit preoccupied arguing amongst themselves about trivial things. Though he was usually one to jump in for the fun of it, he didn't seem to be that into it tonight. Perhaps he didn't drink enough, or perhaps he was tired. Spotting something over by the bar, he quickly excuses himself, sitting himself next to the lonely girl, flashing her a quick smile and offering her a drink. Her dismissive attitude makes a smirk spread across his features, flagging down the bartender and ordering drinks for the two of them. "So, what's your name?" he says idly, glancing over to her.
