Can you believe this Souptre goof! They forgot to edit out the soup grip! This establishing shot is only on screen for 0.5 seconds, but it is definitely a deliberate nod the long tradition of bond soup. 

Ralph Fiennes wrote into his contract that he had to shoot every scene with his own cup’o’soup mug filled to the brim on hand.

In this shot it is clear that despite the Tee Hee's claw that threatens to cut off James Bond's little finger the spy is in a food induced reverie imagining the delicious harmony of spices, root vegetables and fluffy dumplings...

While filming Skypho Daniel Craig spent his breaks sprinting to the nearest soup kitchen to get his fill. His publicist said that it was a good way for him to keep in shape and that the chase was half the fun.

In Thunderbowl (1965) James Bond is seen dancing with Fiona Volpe there is a moment where Bond breaks the forth wall and looks directly into the lens. Previously unseen out-takes reveal that Terence Young literally directed the soup addict Connery's gaze with a fully loaded spoon of soup.

BARGAIN - If your hot and sour soup needs a bit of a kick, your Mexican bean soup needs a message there is surely no better way to achieve this than a standard issue exploding spoon! 

It's a steal if it goes for under $80... I will be watching this one and seeing if I can scoop up a delicious bargain...
