The price of a night out drinking was a slow start the following day. Well, it was Sunday, so perfect for a leisurely day in Alnwick. First we headed east up Fenkle Street, through the Market Place and up Bondgate. At the medieval gate (known as the Hotspur tower and the only original that remains of four that once surrounded the town), we turned left to visit Alnwick Gardens.
