StrangeSpot, Round Thirty Two: Wheels

Just as Helen and Bondi were starting to bond over grilled cheese, disaster literally struck in the form of a lightning bolt hitting the tree in the yard. Bondi bravely attempted to put the resulting fire out and prove his usefulness, but succumbed to the blaze just before the fire brigade arrived.

Axel: "Bummer."

Bondi nearly burns the house down and it's a stroke of luck that Axel knows how to put out the fire.

Helen is extremely unimpressed, though. She invited Bondi to move in and be a good influence for Axel as his big cousin, but he's an extreme slacker with zero mind for home economics!

It's up to Helen now to make sure Axel does his late mother proud. Art lessons can only go so far, so Helen's invited cousin Bondi to live with them, but is StrangeSpot's resident Beech bum ready to be a responsible role model?

StrangeSpot, Round Twenty Nine: Singles

The Three Men and a Baby fantasy was nice while it lasted. The mysterious disease claimed Hi with unfortunate timing as Cosmo was mid-date with his new girlfriend Pandora. She's inherited Ophelia's anxiety and probably won't sleep for a week. Luckily Story was peacefullly sleeping through the whole thing and wasn't traumatised, and Cosmo's heard that the recently widowed Lacy is taking in children who have been displaced. And, since Pandora needs someone to hold her tight at night, Cosmo's moving in with her. (Bondi's chilling in the family bin for now).

StrangeSpot, Round Twenty Eight: Thyme

Hi's nurturing side is revealed in his love and care for Story. When she ages up to a toddler he decides he could do with some backup (maybe even a place that doesn't have fish swimming around in the basement), so he teams up with Bondi Beech and Cosmo Curious to form the new Singles household.

StrangeSpot, Round Twenty Eight: Smith

Bondi skips uni and heads straight to adulthood with a mullet. He then joins Cosmo Curious on an empty lot as they await the formation of a new Singles household. Other than that, the Smiths were uneventful, but they looked good doing it!

StrangeSpot, Round Twenty Seven: Smith

Jewel ages up to a child and looks so much JoAnn! Brighton ages up to a teen and inherits Virginia's jaw/chin, but he might have Johnny's chin thrown in there too for good measure. At Peni's suggestion, Virginia now has glasses and looks fantastic. She's also gone back to her OG hairstyle in my return to MM hair, and JoAnn's done the same. Everyone seems pretty happy with their new looks!
