The untouchable beach. Ever since I was a little girl I wanted to play on this beach, which is government land and fenced off by barbed wire. Teasing any onlookers with its beauty!. . The creek flowing into it from the woods on the other side of HWY 1 was a trickling brook many years ago and over the years I’ve watch it grow wider and wider. Watching it grow as I grow. Sharing time with it, like an old friend. Watching how it greets the ocean with more magnitude than the years before it. Seeing it change shape, as it dances on the sand. Knowing one day it could evolve to be a mighty river.... . And I will continue to watch it grow over the years as I too become older and my knowledge reaches wider. Maybe one day I can dance on the sand with it. Run through the stream I have always longed to sink my toes in.
