I’m watching Our Skyy and it’s reminded me that I hate it when the seme is in love with the uke but hides it for most of the show, for no clear reason, leaving the uke floundering… this dynamic drove me mad in the original Star in my mind and I also hated it in Tonhon Chonlatee and My Gear and your Gown…
Are there any relationship dynamics that you really hate seeing?

Okay. I don't like it when the narrative sticks too hard to the standard super old-school power dynamic. So where the seme is like "tallest, richest, handsomest, smartest" and the uke is just kinda lesser (in all ways) and always going after him. So yeah... this one:

I don't like my ukes too desperate, cringe, or needy (TTJ is doing this right now), because the narrative already has them in the weaker position adding these personality traits makes them feel wimpy and pathetic. I don't fine them cute or sexy I just find them off putting and pathetic. At best I pity them and at worst the frustrate me and so does the seme who, as a result, comes off as willfully obtuse, callous, and uncaring.
But I don't mind it at all if the seme (in the power position) is pining like it's going out of style.
Look I just NEVER want to wince when I watch a show, I'd rather cry than wince.
I'm not a fan of bully sullen seme + crazy tsundere uke without reason, either. Like these two:
I don't mind it if they both have good reason and narrative purpose to their prickly personalities but in general I find a pairing distasteful and the characters unlikeable if there is no softness to their dynamic.
I hate blushing maiden. I am over both it and the original source for it (that the "female"-stand-in" character cant have sexual interest or agency because that makes her a slut, just fucking stop it religion & patriarchy, it's so 100AD). It was pissing me off with KluenDao's Our Skyy 2 recently. I don't even like it if its mock or performative. And it's certainly not sexy or cute. Get your damn conflict some other way, you morons.
