DAY 20:SKELETON/CORPSE

Once a kittypet, Bone was well loved by his elderly twoleg, and lived happily for many years, even when his eyes failed him and had to be removed. However, when his owner died, his new situation quickly spiraled. He woke from a visit to the Cutter with his claws completely missing! That day, Bone escaped from the cruel twolegs, and after his toes became infected, literally stumbled onto a soft molly named Hazelflight.

They recovered together, and he found himself falling deeply and completely in love with Hazelflight. His one regret was that he couldn't look at his mate, but one night, he dreamed a dream of a mostly white molly and a mostly red tortie, calling Hazelflight to come home. Bone was wary, but let himself be pulled to Hazelflight's old home - and found it welcoming and warm to him, if still smelling slightly of blood. And scaring the fur off of cats trying to steal prey - and helping those who asked - was a lot more fun than he thought it would be! But his favorite thing would be his kits - four wriggling bundles that grew into wonderful cats! And now he rested with his beautiful mate, listening to his family banter and laugh and love.

He wouldn't see them for himself until he was dust and bones, but that was barely any time at all.
