HALLOWEENCLAN ART CHALLENGE DAY 3

DAY 3: HORROR ACTOR/REAL MONSTER

Longpaw is near the end of a long (HA) apprenticeship - he was sick as a kit, and couldn't start training until 10 moons! But having Wolfmoon - the coolest, most amazing, most inspirational cat EVER! - was worth the wait! He's very excited! About everything!

He especially loves helping scare off the unwelcome visitors with his imitations - he can mimic just about any cat's voice! AND he's got Wolfmoon and Batstar's go-ahead to use his clever disguises! He has noticed that sometimes his mentor gets REALLY mad, but Longpaw's always ready to distract her with a well-timed joke or deep question!

After all, entertainment and laughter are just a few pawsteps from horror and screaming!

Not too happy with the colored lineart so I probably won't do more of it but ehh

this lady is Rosesnow, she's a newer member of the divine shattering. Like many vampiric ladies of older tales, she eats kits(She doesn't actually, she just says she does to look cooler in front of all her other vampire friends).

Right before joining the divine shattering she lost her leg to a run in with a group of vampire hunters.

She used to be a member of a clan before becoming a vampire, but she doesn't remember anything about it other than that's why her name is Rosesnow.

Day 1: Vampire/Bat

Rosestar, formerly Rosefang is the new leader of Halloweenclan after the death of her son, Batstar by the claws of Doveclan (the Vatican) along their Deputy and many others of their clan.

Rosestar never wanted to be leader but as the only senior warrior alive in the camp and one who had trained an apprentice to warrior (at least in this clan) she was the only one who could step up and fill in the paws that her beloved son left

Now Rosestar is focus on not only rebuilding Halloweenclan and helping her son’s mate raise her only remaining kit, Rosestar’s own granddaughter. She is also trying hard to keep them safe, from not only Doveclan but from themselves as many want revenge.

And they will have revenge, maybe not today… maybe not this season… but one day they will.

My first piece of @theanoninyourinbox Halloweenclan Challenge. I seen most people use either a regular vampire or even Dracula but I decided to go with Carmilla! In this she is the mother of Batstar (Dracula) as apparently the novel Carmilla is what inspired Dracula

HALLOWEENCLAN CHALLENGE DAY 4

DAY 4: JEKYLL AND HYDE/TWO FACED

Splitheart remembers the days of Shadowstar, remembers seeing Howlclaw deny their mother the food that would have kept her alive. They hated the sight of blood splattered on their sister's jaws, but loved that their clan was free from the monsters that haunted their dreams. They practically begged the ancient healer to train them, and has soared in an environment where they can heal instead of harm.

But they dream sometimes, of the imaginary warrior they let Howlclaw think they were - of the cat they pretended to be, their mouth sour with bile and coppery red. Sometimes they think that cat lurks in the back of their mind, ready to strike. Splitheart has begged the stars for an answer, but what they told them...

How could that violent cat help anyone?

HALLOWEENCLAN CHALLENGE DAY 1

DAY 1: BAT/VAMPIRE

Batstar is the elderly but still VERY strong leader of Halloweenclan. He lead the coup that overthrew and slew his grandfather Shadowstar, ending the reign of terror and bloodshed against kittypets and loners, that threatened the Clan with Twoleg interference. Not that Batstar isn't a tad bloodthirsty himself - but his methods of keeping rogues away is MUCH more satisfying.

What's better than terrifying them? Making the intruders doubt their own senses? Doubt each other? Making them scream and flee into the night is SO much more FUN than outright killing them!

(Gonna try to get these all done ahead of time and queue them out because I move on the 15th and that's a tad difficult to draw in that situation)

HALLOWEENCLAN CHALLENGE DAY 6

DAY 6: PHANTOM OF THE OPERA/CYCLOPS

Swansong is the only kit of Batstar, an honor siring for a loner. However, Shadowstar found out about him, killed Swansong's mother, and tried to kill his young grandson by throwing him into a fire. Swansong managed to pull himself to safety, but lost half of his face. Nursed back to health, he stayed with the father he's never met before, and found his love of song and a new family.

Swansong adores mentoring, and is on his third apprentice, Fogpaw. He does still struggle with deafness on his burnt side, and has a tendency to act entitled with cats he doesn't know, however his apprentices and friends see a different side of him. He's lost so much, and refuses to loose anyone else.

If no one new gets too close he can't lose them.

HALLOWEENCLAN CHALLENGE DAY 15

DAY 15: HAUNTED DOLL/POSSESSION

Clayfire and his near-identical twin Brightneedle are the youngest warriors in the clan, and are looking to prove themselves as capable, terrifying, useful members of Halloweenclan.

Clayfire has always been seen as the softer one, with his long lashes, rounded ears, and wide, beautiful eyes. But he’s a terror, using his small stature and tremulous voice to lure cats into a false sense of security, before he goes boneless and screams like a barn owl. He makes his father very proud, and he hopes to pass down the family technique to kits of his own.
