the hideaway is a one of a kind place, and joshua is honored be here. it's amazing to see the work, the care, and the freedom everyone has. it's also freeing because he's not 'his grace' here. he's not the phoenix. he might be cid's little brother, but that doesn't excuse him from helping out in his own way.
he also finds himself walking around the atrium when he needs to think. being here, being with his brother, is enough to make some stress melt off his shoulders, but it doesn't cure everything.
it's during these walks that he talks to the residents of the hideaway. do they need healing? is there anything he can do to help? help on a quest? even though clive would never expect him to pay, it's how he's earning his keep.
