Elmo Kennedy O'Connor (b. January 11th, 1994), better known by his stage name BONES (formerly known as “Th@ Kid”), is an underground rapper from Muir Beach, CA. He is one of the four members of the “Seshollowaterboyz” and has actively released music under several other aliases, such as: surrenderdorthy, OREGONTRAIL, and Ricky A Go Go. During his childhood, he and his family moved to the small town of Howell, Michigan where he attended school. Eventually, he dropped out at the age of 16 to pursue rap music. His brother, Elliot O'Connor, now Bones' manager, suggested Elmo come live with him in Los Angeles, California. There, he recorded most of his mixtapes and eventually met Xavier Wulf, Chris Travis, and Eddy Baker, people he eventually toured and performed with. He is also the grandson of actor Robert Culp. He’s known for his “emo rap” style of music, which is labeled as strictly his own, as well as the rapid rate he releases music (including 100 music videos and over 50 mixtapes), his resistance to joining major record labels and charging money for his music, despite major interest by many.

What’s your favorite genre of music/some of your favorite artists?

Music is so important to me and I got exposed to a lot of different genres, its so hard to pick, but underground rap / cloud rap / dark/ trap metal, industrial/experimental… rlly just rap in general i just find so powerful and I make playlists to process the craziness of my life.

But also. Currently in my baddie era listening to a lot of deconstructed club because it reminds me of my power!!! My most popular playlist is this experimental club type vibe called wired and i have this playlist a girl i made earrings for called her hot girl playlist, called clunking around in my platforms

I listen to so much more tho, I dont wanna yap too much (I just got endless ideas and thoughts lol) but my spotify is digitalgoth

I love pop punk, shoegaze, alt and industrial metal, goth synth.. if anyone has any questions sharing music is one of my love languages and i love talking about it<3
