I love Yuna Hollander, she’s such a great character, but I think we should acknowledge how incredibly lucky it was for all involved that Shane ended up with Ilya Rozanov because I feel if he had tried to bring home literally ANYONE else Yuna Hollander would have been the most overstepping, enmeshed, boymom mother-in-law in the world like…

I think it would be worse if he had a female partner obviously (you should Not have to compete with your husband’s mom for the role of most important woman in his life) but even if Shane was with some nice normal man, his partner would have to be like “hey it’s great that you’re so close with your family but I’d also like to see my family at christmas sometimes. maybe we can alternate which side we spend it with each year?” and the Hollanders would agree of course because that’s would be the polite and fair thing to do but deep down Yuna would never fully forgive this disruption to her traditions and the reduced amount of time she gets to spend with her son. And Shane and his partner would end up in couples counselling to discuss Shane’s reluctance to push back against his mother being overly involved in their lives and the strain it’s putting on their relationship.

But Ilya has no family of origin left to split time with + his mommy issues lead him to find her involvement sweet and nurturing instead of overbearing so they luckily never have to address it👍

Al and Ed's dynamic is so funny bc Edward's got such a complex about being the older one even tho the difference is by one year and he thinks himself a single mother of one raising Al by himself and he needs to protect his little baby brother at all costs then Alphonse is like holding Ed's leash and telling him no when he barks/lunges at passers-by and is making sure he gets his rabies shots and doesn't die doing something stupid also protecting him at all costs etc

i’m soooo obsessed with the idea of getting trapped in a tickle machine. like.. imagine encountering the prototype of a tickling machine and letting your curiosity get the best of you.

imagine lying back on the seat and fiddling with the settings, expecting to test some of the features and see what it feels like to be tickled by a machine.

without realizing that the machine has built-in restraints that activate when you begin the session.

suddenly you’re stuck with your arms above your head and your legs spread and all you can do is watch as an array of tools creeps towards your skin. brushes, vibrators, mechanical fingers, feathers…

not only would you be helpless to stop it, but there would be no one to beg. just a machine programmed to keep going til your time is up.

and if it were programmed with an artificial intelligence to map out your most ticklish spots and which tools/techniques elicit the strongest reaction… that would just be too bad.

imagine a machine that, as luck would have it, is built for more than just tickle torture, but to keep you at the edge of pleasure. just when you resign yourself to a few hours of mindless tickle torture, a vibrator on its lowest setting slips between your legs.

i do love that her new name is carmilla!!! it's probably the only correct usage of that name that i've seen outside of the original!!

in the original story, carmilla actually has to keep re-arranging her name (i.e. her name use to be Mircalla, and many combinations before) because of escaping notice and being a vampire. a vampire who specifically go after young ladies.

so it's very satisfying having sybil take that on as her new name
