I'm halfway through Bones s7, and a thing that caught my attention is the lack of casual physical affection between Bones and Booth. You CANNOT convince me that man would be able to keep his hands away from Temperance for even 10 minutes after they finally get together. I loved how he acted a little silly with her belly in ep1 and she was clearly used to that. And she enjoyed it! I think he might be a little bit possessive over her, but not in a toxic way.
I strongly believe that he would seek casual touch every time he gets. At first, she wouldn't really understand why he was so clingy, but she wouldn't protest. It was pleasant, and he tried to be mindful not to get in her way, which she appreciated. Even while working at the lab, Seeley would follow Tempe as close as he possibly can without interrupting her. She herself found it sometimes difficult to focus without him following her every move. After a while, she would be the one searching for his touch while walking or just standing around and talking.
They would touch feet while standing, wrap their hands around each other's arms casually, brush against each other and interlace their fingers while walking around the crime scene or the lab, searching for each other's hands when they need to say something.
At home, they would sit next to each other, legs tangled on the couch. He would warm up her feet by sitting on them and she would laugh.
When squints would see them walking past **without** holding hands, or at least brushing against each other lightly, it would make them worry, and Sweets would try to make them go to therapy. Because even when they argue, they still at least touch elbows while walking, so if they don't even do that, something has to be SERIOUSLY WRONG.
So yeah, I strongly believe they would be much more physically affectionate with each other. I'm curious if something will change now that Emily is no longer pregnant. Anyway. Thanks for listening to me ramble ( ̄▽ ̄)ノ
