Hey Guys sooo for a few months now I've been part of an online community I helped form called "Boneshaker Press"  We are launching our first collaborative Art book called “Encounters with the Imaginary” on kickstarter and I’m proud to say we are 50% funded! with 26 Days left to go! Check out the Kickstarter page to see the goodies in store for backers! This book contains some really amazing art by some awesome artists that I have had the pleasure of working and learning with over the last year or so, Each artist showcases an imaginary creature along with a short story to complement each pic. We then pulls the curtain back on each painting to show a bit of our technical and thought process to show you how we go about making these illustrations. Our aim is to both entertain and educate with this book and I hope you can be a part of it. But don’t take my word for it, Check it out and see for yourself

This is a piece I painted for a Challenge at the Boneshaker Press Facebook Art Group . This first prompt was about Bones ^^ we had to do texture studies, prop design and thumbnail exercises before diving into a full illustration.  Doing this with this encouraging group of artists has been very pleasant and I am already excited for the next challenge. Next month is going to be about Bio-Luminescence. Come and join the fun !
