Whew - well I wanted to finish this little guy last night, but this one was much harder to paint and really gave me a challenge. A few more hours today though, and I think this one is finally getting there! I will probably go in and do another few passes on him, but it is finally coming to life.

So, with that said - that is all four cats in the illustration and I am about to dive into painting the actual sphinx herself!! Woohoo - and with plenty of practice painting these cats' awesome wrinkly skin. I can't share the whole sphinx herself till after the book is published, but I might slip a few good details on here :)
