Thanks to @snickast for the kind words!! More @bongchopsbreaks to come! Repost @snickast Bong chops - Bongchop Breaks 7” This is one beefy slab (or that vegan beef seitan) of wax on 45! Mr BongChops goes off on the drums non-stop on both sides, with super intricate, tight patterns and break heavy rhythms. This was released in 2016 on the mighty I Had An Accident label. IHAA usually release limited edition cassettes and I’m not sure if this was their first vinyl release but they should definitely release more wax! The tracks have a kind of free jam style to them, I would be interested to know how these recordings are made, if they are edited or just recorded on the fly, and how many drum sticks were thrashed during the sessions! Analog production and recording by mHaze_beats. I believe these releases are made with the idea that the drums should be sampled freely. Plus you can’t go wrong with great song names like “Dank Choppin” and “dude......I mean man. U still here bro??!” I also believe Mr B.Chops is in the studio working hard on destroying his drum set for the next release.
