Well if this wasn’t the best surprise of the weekend! One of the best moto magazines ever @fasttimesmagazine gave me the cover! We went out to run first thing this morning, unsure if plan B would work, but the bike stayed locked into 4th gear as we hoped. We were able to complete a full run! The exit speed was over 119mph and I wasn’t even tucked into racing position. The bike finally ran the way I hoped. We are back at the pits to do jetting and gearing and getting back on the line. Welp Tyler’s bike may have had connecting rod bearing go bad. Tyler’s gonna pack it up for the week and dig into the motor when we get home... That’s racing, that’s Bonneville.
