Day 19: Something that makes me feel loved- Motherhood has always been a dream of mine. In 2013 getting to experience pregnancy was a truly beautiful experience for me. Placing him for adoption wasn't easy, but I knew I made the best possible decision for both him and myself. Being allowed to be in his life and share in his growth with his adoptive family is truly special to me. This year I started a relationship with someone who had children. Something that was brand new for me. He has 3 beautiful children. Filling the role of future step mom has been quite the journey. It was like entering motherhood overnight. I'm so thankful for the opportunity I've been given to fill this role. I will never replace their mother and I've respected her role from the beginning. Just getting this glimpse of what motherhood is like has been a blessing. I pray someday I'll be blessed with another child. No rush, and when the time is right of course. Day 14: Color- when I was younger I hated the color pink. As I got older it started to become a color I enjoyed. My favorite color will always be yellow. As I've filled the role of step mom pink has become quite the staple in our home.
