Journaling about magical realism
Doing a silly just for fun little read along with my friend, we're reading an embroidery murder mystery book, cosy mystery's aren't typically what I read but as we're both crafters we thought it would be fun. We're reading one chapter at a time and then talking about it on a discord call before we read the next chapter. It's fun and I definitely think we'll be doing this with the whole series, bonus is it's helping get me back into reading.
okay, real talk, how do people highlight their books? like, i am afraid that i will regret my color choice, or in 5 years i will regret the passages i highlight? i annotate with tabs now, but someone PLEASE teach me your ways
I love getting to match book tabs and highlighters to the cover of a book I'm planning to annotate and read.
It's such a fun lil preparation process; finding the right tab colours to match different aspects of the book cover to then match it to a highlighter.

I have begun annotating my copy of "The Secret History" by Donna Tartt. I plan to annotate one chapter per day, granted my work schedule allows it.
