I did puzzle over the myriad of little clues sprinkled throughout the book but I didn't piece them all together until the end - now that's good writing!

While I’m talking about Broken, I should mention Book 4. I’ve already written 20,000 words, and I’ve been keeping a pretty strong pace. The goal is to get it out in January, but if I keep up my current torrent, it will probably come sooner than that.

And then, at the end, while I can't say the last battle was any different from the first one in the book, there is the surprising twist which I thoroughly enjoyed! It was a moment of solidarity, of clarity and yes, hope! I did puzzle over the myriad of little clues sprinkled throughout the book but I didn't piece them all together until the end - now that's good writing! Also, I understand there is a 4th book planned and with that in mind, I knew that whatever happened at the end, would be continued.
