i was aware of book legolas' whimsy but nothing could have prepared me for the absolute delight of him. 'i go to find the sun!' before prancing off on the snow that he told no one he could walk on. some disney princess type shit.

Legolas is so much more whimsical and funny
dude shows up to the council of Elrond with the news of Gollum's escape just for everyone around him to start being like, oh at least the good old Elves in Mirkwood have still got ahold of that cheeky Gollum, wow would we have been in a pickle had he been out and about
poor guy was so stressed he stood up and interrupted to be like GUYS I'M SO SORRY
also, the fact he waited and watched Boromir and Aragorn struggle through snow for "a while with a smile upon his lips" before jumping in like, you silly geese I could have just stepped over the snow the whole time

Youngest child of three
He is closet with his sister and find his brother too uptight and not fun enough. Though pities his brother for having to be that way, he is the crown prince after all
Loves to wear leaf clusters in his hair
His sister would put them in his braids for him

He is the artist in a family of scientists
He can feel the emotions of the trees and can communicate with the in his own way. He in inherited this from his father who can actually talk to the trees
He is an amazing dancer
Has many Silvan friends, way more than the rest of his family save his father, and even that was in his youth

Loves to hug his friends, and isn’t afraid to even cuddle his closest friends (he gets this from his mother)
