Hey, I have been working with Life is Living for a few months on the "Book Zone" it is one of the many activites being held at this year's 10th annual Life is Living Fest for teens, adults, children & families. The Book Zone is part of the "Kids Zone" run by Emily Butterfly which will feature face painting, an obstacle course, silk screening, mural painting, and free snacks for the kids.

Hey everyone, The 10th Annual Life Is Living Festival slated for this Saturday, October 14th at DeFremery Park in West Oakland is POSTPONED due to fires and our growing concern for the health and wellness of our people. This Saturday at the Life is Living festival I will be selling books alongside authors and artists Avy Jetter Breena Nuñez Peralta Simon Abramowitsch Tiffany Golden Hafrocentric Comic Kriyani Comics and several Youth Speaks alumni. I hope to grow this zone as an integral part of the fest w/ more kids books, zines, comics, novels, and more books. ALSO-We will have a small table for zine making so come through.
