Xicanistas Y Punkeristas Say It Loud! by Brenda Montano
From Sing For Your Life (www.singforyourlifeprojects.tumblr.com):
An anti-copyright Zine chronicling Xicana’s in Punk and Beyond. This Zine documents the struggles, triumphs and experiences of bad ass mujeres from 1848 to the present day. On every page you will find an assembly of words and photos that document the past, present and future.

Singin' the Blues: Esa Que Te Sirve by Brenda Montano & Breena Nuñez
This Zine is a collaborative piece constructed by Brenda Montaño and Breena Nuñez. Brenda wrote the short, fictional story which chronicles the everyday struggles of having to hustle cheeseburgers and Dino chicken nuggets in order to survive. Breena brilliantly supports the story with her illustrations, all done by hand.

Hello friends and followers! I have a request! You may have noticed that I post and reblog links for paperlinks.org. Paperlinks has been a concept that Ruth Halloran and myself have been working on for years, and got our other creative friends into doing it with us. It is a blog that we all post to weekly about topics that are relevant to us, and hopefully, to you as well.
In the near future we want to create a "Dear Abby" kind of thing where we ask followers/readers for a topic, and we all write on that. I'm really excited to do this, but in order to, we need to have a following first! I'm asking you to please check us out. Bookmark us, and reblog this post. I want people to get to know us, and we want to talk to our readers. Thank you all so much for your support.
And hey, if you just can't wait to start suggesting, feel free to drop us an email at dearpaperlinks@gmail(dot)com!
And for any reason, if you need convincing about whether or not PLP is your kind of thing, take the time to read the wierdest/funniest post I've done.
