Not only has Bookdigits NOT implemented AI on its site, but the owner/creator of it seems to be actively and proudly anti-AI.
It's my favorite book tracker site and it makes me really happy that I don't have to worry about them ruining the site.
Really? You have to have a paid account on Pagebound to leave a comment on posts announcing new features? I knew I should have just stuck with Bookdigits 🤦 guess I'll return to it as my main reading tracker.
I liked being able to give little mini-updates on books I was reading, and interact with other people's updates, but I can do that here on Tumblr.
"They have to pay the bills somehow!" yeah but not letting free users voice any input on features is just....very indicative of an attitude towards its site users that I do not like. Keep in mind that free users are providing most of the content--reviews, comments, etc--that keeps people interested and using the site--including the people that will sign up for the paid features. But our opinions on the site don't matter 🙄
My reading stats for 2025. IDK why I managed to read so much more in November than at any other point in 2025.
Book Digits: A Smarter Way to Explore Books
You know what is awesome about social networking? Discovering new allies and people who are as passionate as you are.
Today I was led to a new website, Book Digits, that has a pretty unique way of rating and reviewing books.

Say hello to BookDigits
The beta release of BookDigits went live this morning! Invitations are sent on a first-come, first-serve basis, so make sure to head over to bookdigits.com and get your email address on the invite list.
BookDigits is a brand new way to rate, review, and recommend books – unlike anything else on the web today. I hope you'll check out the site and find it useful.
New projects on the way from Bennett
I have a couple of exciting projects in the works, and now seems like a good time to spill the details.
Hotel Apocalypse – Last year, I started working on a new piece of fiction called Hotel Apocalypse. It's a sci-fi/dystopian adventure that will be broken up into 16 parts, with a new episode released every week. Look for Hotel Apocalypse to make its debut in early 2014 in both ebook and paperback.
BookDigits.com – There are a lot of book websites out there that claim to offer the best reviews, recommendations, and reading tools. I thought I could build something better, so that's what I've been doing in my spare time. BookDigits.com is based off the alternative review style I use on this blog, and it will be launching to the public this summer. If you're interested in participating in the beta release, contact me via email or Twitter. Follow @bookdigits for updates about the site.
And of course, don't forget that my first two books, Train Wreck and Secrets to Losing Weight in College, are still available at low prices from a variety of retailers.
