When customers step into The I Wonder Bookstore and ask the owner the shop’s namesake question (“I wonder if you have any books about…”), his answer is nearly always “Yes!” Here is a shop- and a book- full of wonders that celebrates the love of books and reading.
I picked this up at work when one of my coworkers showed it to me and I thought it was so cute and lighthearted. Having worked in the used book trade for almost a year and a half now, I related to the shop owner’s pure joy of getting to share books with people. I also thought it funny the one occasion in the whole book where his answer is “no” to an inquiry. Very sweet and truly a love letter to us crazy book lovers 💟
