✨#BookReview I just got done reading Dead Speak by Pandora Pine. ✨ • 🌸I loved this book to me it had everything in it I needed to get my fix. I loved that they were solving a cold case and not any regular detective case about a murder because I read those types of books before and this was a kind of different detective book. Also it got psychics too! So who wouldn’t love this book! I love that it wasn’t just another generic gay love story too! The two main characters are gay and how they come to fit together was perfect. I did laugh though and scream out at WTF moment and that was when they did come together though because it was super fast. they were only a week into working together and getting to know each other when all of sudden the main characters kissed. I thought was too fast but I pushed on through because the author made it come together smoothly. The only problem I have with the book is that they were thinking I love you’s a MONTH into the relationship! That’s way too fast for me. Also, Ronan talked about his ex-husband WAY too much for me. He was even thinking about him during sex! SEX! It was annoying how much he brought him up but if you hang in there you know why he did later down the road for the plot to move forward. Other than that the book was great I mean it does have ghosts so it’ll keep you on your toes. 🌸 • Book Description: It’s about a recently divorced detective Ronan who just came from rehab because of a misunderstanding during a shooting a couple months back that actually lands him in the Cold Case Squad. At the precinct he gets a case about a little boy’s kidnapping that happens several years ago with no new evidence or any new clues as to where the boy could be. He enlists the help of Tennyson Grimm the psychic who just found a boy publicized on tv. Ronan thought It couldn’t hurt getting his help since he was on his last leg and the precinct needs good publicity since Tennyson now is going to do a reality show showcasing his abilities.
