Here are my #bookishstats for November! . Again, I'm at my usual number of books read for the average month, though I'm already anticipating a severe drop this December, because of the double whammy that is the holidays and #BrandonSanderson 's #Oathbringer. Won't be able to focus on reading much else, tbh, though I am trying to get some nonfiction in in the form of #JuliBerwald 's #Spineless because woo jellyfish!
Late yet again, but here are my #bookishstats for September! No nonfiction, which is sad, but this is WAY above the usual four-a-month number I consider my baseline, which is good :D. Makes me feel like I'm making up for that reading slump I hit in the middle of this year XD.
Late again, but here are my #bookishstats for August! . It's the standard number I usually hit for books every month, but it looks like this month, I spent more time reading nonfiction than fiction. That's a good sign, as I've really been trying to read a bit more nonfiction for this year - although, to be fair, the lone fiction read was a deliciously epic doorstopper of a fantasy novel (Black Wolves by Kate Elliott), so I'm not about to complain XD.

They're already MUCH better than the statistics for May and June, which is a good thing; means that my slump is likely on its way out. Hopefully things will pick up even more during the next couple of months :D.

Well, obviously, this isn't very impressive, but I got hit with a reading slump pretty hard all throughout the month, and I wasn't able to really do much reading. I wound up spending more time playing video games, because for some odd reason my brain still craved engagement with narratives, just not the pure-text kind. Finally wound up breaking it when I picked up Ancient Worlds by Michael Scott again after putting it off for a long time, and that's what got my reading mojo back :D. Hopefully June will look a lot better, stats-wise.
I'm late posting this again, but here are my #bookishstats for April! So glad to have managed six books again this month, and two of those nonfiction :D. I strongly recommend my two favorites from last month: The Stars Are Legion by Kameron Hurley, and In the Land of Giants by Max Adams. Hurley's book I knew I was going to love (IT IS SO GOOD!), but Adams' book was a pleasant surprise since I haven't read anything of his before. Might have to find that other book he wrote about a Dark Age king; he makes for a pretty good storyteller :D.
Whoops, it's already well into April and I forgot to post my March #bookishstats! Read a bit more than my usual of four per month, which is a good thing, and actually managed to fit in two nonfic books in there as well! My efforts to read more nonfic this year continue apace, and that's a very good thing indeed :D.
My #bookishstats for January :D. Finished two holdovers from last year at the top of this year, and that makes me quite happy - especially since I finally sat myself down to finish #TheWallofStorms, even if it DID break my heart XD.
