Ahh, Caribbean sunshine and a pile of books: paradise!! 📚 (Via @BookOfCHello Readers, I am back! - - As most of you know my phone broke so I was on a forced Sabbatical. I want to catch you up on what’s been going on in the last four weeks in 8 points! - 1. I completed the #ReadWhatYouOwn September challenge and I STILL have books on my shelf so I decided to roll the challenge over to October. - 2. I noticed while I was gone I got a lot of new followers- WELCOME!!! I will be doing a Jamaican themed giveaway soon to celebrate so look out for that! - 3. I have published two articles in the Women’s section of the Sunday Guardian Newspaper here in Trinidad and Tobago. It blows my mind every time I open the newspaper and see BookOfCinz. - 4. It’s been over a month since I started my new role as Marketing Manager and I have SO much to learn and I am still getting use to the culture but I love it so far. - 5. I am currently training for the UWI Half Marathon on October 28th. On Sunday I ran a 15K race and my knees are still upset with me. - 6. On Wednesday I made the big decision to really test myself with the Goodreads Reading Challenge- instead of 180 books I am challenging myself to read 200 books for 2018. This is the highest I’ve ever set my challenge to and I am a little scared I wont meet it. - 7. I am currently reading and LOVING “She Would Be King” by by Wayetu Moore. Part of the story features a Jamaican from Maroon and English parentage- I am already invested! - 8. I have AMAZING NEWS!!! You would not believe the ARCs I received while I was away…. YALL!!!!!!!!!
