𝔹𝕠𝕠𝕜 𝕠𝕗 𝕥𝕙𝕖 𝕄𝕠𝕟𝕥𝕙- Happy Thanksgiving to all my US based readers! Today, while your lounging around in your respective food comas, enjoy my December 2021 @bookofthemonth predictions. I hope you find titles to add to your TBRl! What books are you hoping to see in December? One of my November picks was The Family by @naomikrupitsky and I can't wait to read it! Head on over to the blog to see the books I'm excited about this December/January and check out the synopsis of The Family below! SYNOPSIS Two daughters. Two families. One inescapable fate. Sofia Colicchio is a free spirit, loud and untamed. Antonia Russo is thoughtful, ever observing the world around her. Best friends since birth, they live in the shadow of their fathers’ unspoken community: the Family. Sunday dinners gather them each week to feast, discuss business, and renew the intoxicating bond borne of blood and love. But the disappearance of Antonia’s father drives a whisper-thin wedge between the girls as they grow into women, wives, mothers, and leaders. Their hearts expand in tandem with Red Hook and Brooklyn around them, as they push against the boundaries of society’s expectations and fight to preserve their complex but life-sustaining friendship. One fateful night their loyalty to each other and the Family will be tested. Only one of them can pull the trigger before it’s too late. #bookofthemonthmember #booksubscriptionbox #bookofthemonthbox #bookofthemonthpredictions https://www.instagram.com/p/CWtRpcdvbnk/?utm_medium=tumblr
𝔹𝕠𝕠𝕜 𝕠𝕗 𝕥𝕙𝕖 𝕄𝕠𝕟𝕥𝕙- What July releases are you excited about? It's a little late but I'm finally sharing my July Book of the Month Predictions. I'm really hoping that Survive the Night by @riley.sager will be an add on so my set will match but we shall see. My favorite book by Riley Sager is Lock Every Door, mostly because of my love for Rosemary's Baby by Ira Levine. I'm hoping I love Survive the Night just as much. Head on over to the blog to see my other predictions for July @bookofthemonth picks and the synopsis of Lock Every Door below! SYNOPSIS No visitors. No nights spent away from the apartment. No disturbing the other residents, all of whom are rich or famous or both. These are the only rules for Jules Larsen’s new job as an apartment sitter at the Bartholomew, one of Manhattan's most high-profile and mysterious buildings. Recently heartbroken and just plain broke, Jules is taken in by the splendor of her surroundings and accepts the terms, ready to leave her past life behind. As she gets to know the residents and staff of the Bartholomew, Jules finds herself drawn to fellow apartment sitter Ingrid, who comfortingly reminds her of the sister she lost eight years ago. When Ingrid confides that the Bartholomew is not what it seems and the dark history hidden beneath its gleaming facade is starting to frighten her, Jules brushes it off as a harmless ghost story . . . until the next day, when Ingrid disappears. Searching for the truth about Ingrid’s disappearance, Jules digs deeper into the Bartholomew's sordid past and into the secrets kept within its walls. What she discovers pits Jules against the clock as she races to unmask a killer, expose the building’s hidden past, and escape the Bartholomew before her temporary status becomes permanent. #bookofthemonth #bookofthemonthpredictions #subscriptionbox #bookbox #botmpicks #botmsubscription https://www.instagram.com/p/CQZXT93rIuo/?utm_medium=tumblr
