Today’s challenge for the #book battle has me pretty excited. Turns out my FAVORITE author (Mercedes Lackey) published a book the year I was born: Oathbreakers! I have the whole Heralds of Valdemar series (only like 1/3 are pictured here) including almost all the short story compilations! 😮 😍😊 . . Mercedes Lackey has some of the strongest, complicated female characters I know in all kinds of roles. She has LGBT characters like they are no big deal and characters with disabilities as well (my favorite trilogy has a blind character). And I’m pretty sure I’m doing what I’m doing today as a living because I want to be a Herald.
