Thank you ladies!!!! Unfortunately the day hasn’t really gotten better today was a bit of a highlight of what the next few weeks will be. At least I got a new water heater so I can go home to a bath and a glass of red.

@bookwormm03 you're not wrong
Top three underrated characters on CEG?
while i know people love darryl/white josh, i think darryl himself is severely underrated. he’s a male character who had learned his true sexuality late in life, and is proud of it despite society often having negative reactions to bisexual men. he is beyond comfortable in his own skin, endlessly kind to his friends, and is completely okay if he loves someone more than they love him. darryl is the person i want to be sometimes.
i really would love for them to flesh out maya - i think i could technically call her underrated, though it’s entirely based on how much i love esther povitsky. she’s a fun take on a millennial and i would love for her to have a fuller plotline, though i doubt it’ll happen now that esther has her own show on abc family.
and.. honestly, i think paula as a person separate from rebecca is very underrated. their friendship is rightfully celebrated, but she is such an amazing character. a larger woman over 40 who is allowed to have insecurities that don’t define her, who is comfortable in her skin, who gets to sing songs while dressed as a goddess or princess, who has storylines about being found attractive by other men, who is learning healthy boundaries for obsessive tendencies and codependent friendships. paula is so wonderful.
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY OF YOUR 19TH BIRTHDAY!!🎉🎂
hahaha, thank you, dear!!!!
Would you ever write a fic where Ben is not terrible? ....Haahha no seriously, would you ever write a fic where Ben does not stay in Pawnee after Harvest Fest? <3 <3 <3 I'm sorry you feel crappy.
I think so. But I also don’t think I could do just Ben leaves, they miss each other, the reunite, the end. I would need there to be a twist of some kind, some fantastical element that I could sink my teeth into so it didn’t feel like it’s been done before.

I’m so sorry you’re going through that. Feeling like an outsider, or like you’re only liked for what you do not who you are is very difficult. I know what it’s like to feel excluded at work, especially when you’re a ball of anxiety and wishing you could suck the words you just said back in. If you ever need to talk or vent, I’m here to listen.

I’m sorry you are feeling like this. I have certainly been in similar places. If you need to vent or talk let me know but maybe it’s time to start looking for another job? Just having the option is freeing.

If you need to talk, please feel free to message me! From what it sounds, this job might not be what you need. Maybe looking for something else will help with how you feel. I’ve been in a similar situation at previous jobs, and let me tell you, getting out was the best thing I ever did.

I’m sorry you feel that way, I spent 12 mths at a job that I hated and I was practically non existent and so under appreciated, I ended up quitting that job before I had a new one in place because it was killing my sole. I also went through some depression during that time due to the grief of leaving a job I had loved and also the death of a friend, I’m in a really good place mental health wise nowand I would say that 90% of that is because I have found a work place where I fit and it’s a great.
Thank you all so much for your kind words and advice. My manager has been really supportive during this time and I have a few meetings next week to address the situation. I don’t want to leave, because I’ve done so much here and it’s rewarding. But at the same time, it’s so lonely. I do need to have a long hard think about everything, but it really means a lot that you all took the time to get in touch <3
Thank you everyone.
