Birth of the Boom Witch, timelapse of inking and coloring what was originally a work sketch I did during down time. Glad I refined that sketch a bit after that job had ended, rather fond of drawing her.

Part 5 and the bookend to this sketch series, the getaway. Having rendezvous-ed with the Witch Association (gonna come up with a cooler sounding name eventually) the escapees are being provided with clean blankets and water before loading them onto the getaway wagons. Extra bit of lore, every witch with a doo-hickey at the peak of their hat is a fully fledged witch with their own specialty and title.

Hope you enjoyed seeing each entry! May polish these a bit more down the line, juggling a few too many projects at the moment, felt I had to get this one down while it was still fresh in my mind though. I will be doing more with the Boom Witch in the future for certain. She's always fun to draw.

Part 4, the Boom Witch to punctuate her victory over the Inquisitor, demolishes the tainted cathedral and the dungeon below it with a spectacular show of magic explosive power.

3rd in the series, the Boom Witch faces off with an Inquisitor above the cathedral built over the dungeon in the previous entry and whose plaza is where the accused are burnt at the stake.

The Inquisitor has defenses against pure magic but since the Boom Witch can manipulate physical explosives as well, she can get around them and be rather effective where others may not.
