If you’re not reading The History of a Family, you are living your life incorrectly. That fic is a fucking gift, and one of the best-written fics I’ve read in ages. This is going right up there on my list alongside fics like the NEC series or Angels and Saints or the Kings County series as the best fics in this fandom, and fics that show what this under-respected genre can do.
Holy shit, a chapter of a fic I love just dropped and it’s 10,000 words.

Uh, preeeeeetty much zilch research. I winged it based on my terrible legal knowledge, mostly gleaned from TV and movies, and made it fit the situation I wanted to happen - sorry, nonny!
If you want to read a woke-up-married-in-Vegas fic that’s somewhat more plausible, boombangbing wrote a wonderful, sweet, and sexy Jane/Bruce story that has Actual Research on how getting yourself out of a Vegas wedding might work that doesn’t include Pepper Potts saying she could probably make the entire situation magically go away.

GOSH. I'd have to say it's a toss up between JARVIS and the Pizza Girl and until the stars lose their glory.

Probably my Pepper/Tony baby i'm not alright when you go (i'm not fine). Mostly because I remember when I was writing it and how it just... all came out at once. I've never had any other story/idea come to me so easily as that fic did.
