What happens if they can explode? And like I feel like they would be regional variance like your gremlin designs

weeelll....they can't.. They only look like they will, BUT back in ancient times they used to hide a special berry between their paws that would make a loud BANG sound on impact, imitating a bomb exploding. Can you eat the berry?...yyyesss but you'd need to squash them first so they don't explode in your mouth-
Now is there still a downside to the fuses burning? It doesn't exactly hurt them but it does burn it down a bit, the males just shorten down the fuse while the females have all the fluff burned off. It isn't permanent so it grows back! But it do take a while...
As for being related to gremlins YES YES THEY ARE! They more of a distant subspecies from a farther region but still heavily related to the gremlin species, there's A LOT of other gremlin species that I would die to talk about but drawing it is the tough part :,]
